Taking pictures was my favorite thing to do. I started using my first SLR when I was in high school. But I never knew I wanted to be a photographer, I always thought taking pictures was just something I did kinda like reading. I can do it whenever I want to. All I know is that taking pictures makes me happy and I should do what makes me happy.
Until one day I realized that I was not happy with my 8 to 5 job anymore, I hated it so much that I often had sleepless nights just thinking about it, so I left it early last year to take some time to try to get my photo career on track. Though after a while, I find that to get started on this career is incredibly time consuming, expensive and tough. And to make it in the extraordinarily competitive world of photography, you must be willing to give up a lot! Your weekends for example, and of course your savings. I have attended countless hours of various workshops, I don’t know how much work I have seen, or how many source of ideas and inspiration I have read, in the end it’s all talking about the same thing, basic ingredient, is to make a great work!
You satisfy yourself first, do not go looking for approval, know what you want to accomplish and you go for it.
O well, I am not an expert and I’m still trying to make my way in this career. In the meantime I’m gonna leave this to you “every moment of every day is entirely up to you. You can keep waiting for your life to change so that you can choose differently or you can choose differently so that your life can change”.

Recently, a few of my dearest friends commented that I should put a photo on the back of my card. After reviewing nearly a hundred of my favorite shots, i choose this one ….

Little miss Kiera was stealing a glance at her mom + sister when I took this shot. Thank you so much little miss Kiera, and thank you all for viewing!
